Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Happy Grump Day! Happy New Years! Whatever it is you're celebrating, I wish you all a devious day full of inspiration, good health, and luck. I also want to thank all of my watchers, those who have favorite my works, and those who have contributed positive feedback toward those works. Without you guys I wouldn't have been able to grow and learn as well as I have. Thank you!

Hey... let's play a little game, shall we?

Happy Birthday, DeviantArt! :dummy:

1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?

Three years, going on four! It's been a journey all the way. :)

2. What does your username mean?

I've always loved Nintendo because it has a deep root in my childhood, and has morals which most gaming companies (and even governments, sheesh) don't have. It's set apart from the rest in a very unique way. My two favorite franchises from Nintendo are The Legend of Zelda and Mario. Ever since I had discovered the Twili from Twilight Princess I had fallen in love with them, their realm, and the ambiance. My favorite character from the Mario series has always been the loyal and easy-going Yoshi, so I combined the two and bam! Twiliyoshi. I've always imagined the image of my username as a yoshi with Twili features... huh.

3. Describe yourself in three words.
   Solitary
   Clandestine
   Dreamer

4. Are you left or right handed?
   Right.

5. What was your first deviation?
A piece of poetry called "~My Master~", which was a concept I had of the relationship between my long lost and underdeveloped demon OC and a Zelda character.

6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
I enjoy making digital art and I hope to make great landscapes one day. For now, though, I enjoy designing and studying the anatomy of humanoid creatures... don't take that the wrong way!

7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
There are many art styles I hope to explore in the future, but for an instant style I would love to immediately master semi-realism. Or landscaping.

8. What was your first favourite?
Lord Ghirahim - Link and Fi by Link-LeoB
Boom! Man, I really liked Skyward Sword back then...

9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Digital art whose concepts have a creative twist! OR something that utilizes colors really nicely... and the Legend of Zelda.

10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
There are too many skilled artists out there that it'd be a shame to choose only one. I look up to many artists, photographers, authors, and craftsmen.

11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
I'm too shy to do this one! I'm not too good at socializing face-to-face, I'd rather keep digital communication.

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
There are plenty of role-models to keep your ideas going and concepts to inspire you if you can find 'em! Many deviants on this site are chill. It's easy to get along with others, and I've made plenty of acquaintances, friends, and allies along the way. My friends on this site have motivated me in my journey through art and are the most important asset to me. I love talking to them although I take a while to respond, and it's nice to know that there is no shortage of people out there to relate to, support, and inspire you. Not to mention, they're really cool people. I am very grateful for my friends. Skull Kid Emote

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?

Digital: Paint Tool SAI, Wacom Tablet
Traditional: Pencil, Colored Pencils, eraser, copy paper
Literature: Google Drive, college-ruled paper, pencil
Crafts: Shoe box, glue, stickers... eh...

14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Although this site is inspiring, more often than not I'll find a concept that will spring new ideas to my mind which my current skill level cannot execute. So... music! I always have to have music. Or Game Grumps.

15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
My favorite DeviantArt memory is in the beginning of this journey: joining and discovering all this site had to offer! Thanks, DeviantArt, for an on-going amazing experience.

Inactivity Alert: July 30th - August 9th

Yo! What's up, guys?

I just wanted to give you all a heads-up for some inactivity through the days listed above. I'll be visiting family for a while and internet will be non-existent. So conversations, deviations, and all the other salutations are put on a hiatus! So don't spam my inbox!

That's all I have to say, guys. Go pee or something.

Cheap Point Com. + Annual Deviant Games!

Yo! What's up, guys?

As I'm sure many of you know, Nintendo's president Satoru Iwata passed away on July 11th, 2015. At first, this didn't hit me although I knew perfectly well who he was. As the hours went on, it slowly began to creep up on me that an extraordinary man has left this world way too soon. Never again will I see his name rolling on the credits of a Zelda game (which is the very reason why I was familiar with him in the first place). Today, I think I've finally realized just what kind of loss this is. My condolences to Mr. Iwata's family and friends; may he rest in peace. :bademoticon: View the tribute.

I'll say, I think his passing hit me so hard that I needed to resort to therapeutic treatment-- online style. No, I don't look at furry cats tripping over their paws. Instead, I watch whom I consider to be the two best comedic Let's Players on Youtube: Arin and Danny, Game Grumps! Despite how much I love these two guys, I've been noticing that the comments in many of their videos have some really biased shit in 'em. Comedy aside, people are always giving shit to Arin and praise to Danny. Nothin' wrong with the praise, but there's definitely a problem with the shit-talking. It's evident throughout their videos that Arin and Danny have a close relationship as friends, no doubt because of the time they spend together making Let's Play Videos. But even when they're off-screen, I believe that Arin and Danny have that kind of 'click' that enables them to be compatible with each other. You can tell, watching them exchange stories and jokes, that they balance each other out quite well and provide a unique sense of ongoing humor in their videos. Not to take away credit from any other Grump members, but Arin and Danny present something I have yet to designate that really makes their videos shine. Long story short, go check out these wonderful people and stop giving shit to Arin. I freakn' love the guy. I think he has a great sense of humor, his rages and criticism reveal some really good points, and he has just as much compassion as Danny does, but his approach to execute it is different.

By the way, have you guys seen the Best Zelda Rap Ever video, Minecraft is for Everyone, or SMASH! ? Yeah, Arin is Egoraptor. He helped with that awesomeness (so did Danny- he sings!)

Hey guys! A journal, wow! I haven't posted one of these in a long time. I usually give out information in deviation descriptions-- it's much quicker. Anyway, I'd like to talk about my journey into Hell BUT FIRST... Congratulations to same-sex couples in America! Even if you're a loner, this is a very symbolic day. Hopefully the rest of the world will acknowledge you the way we all should be acknowledged, and treat you fairly.

That aside, for those of you I know personally or have been around a while, you'll recall my ongoing project The Legend of Zelda: The Forbidden Shadows. Book One: Phantom of Audacity is currently in progress. While I'm developing theories and working on chapters, I like to doodle concepts in my spare time. I thought it would be neat to share these and spread the word about my project before getting lost in it. Thus, I made an official blog for Book One!

Explore!

Feel free to explore, ask questions, and so forth on the blog. If you could like and share some things, that would be awesome! :D You can also visit The Forbidden Shadows here in my gallery, but I'll be updating on its blog WAY more often. If you're not quite sure what I'm talking about, visit the 'About' section on the official blog to get you started!

If you're not interested in Zelda or my project, that's cool. BUT if you'd like to see my journey through art and sketches at 3 in the morning, you can go here!

That's all! Thanks for the support, guys!
